Kajol and Ajay Devgan as a couple

Unlikemost of the Bollywood couples,Ajay Devgan and Kajol have worked in over half a dozen films. And they have delivered quite a few hits too. Moreover, thanks to her association with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol has been a much bigger star than Ajay ever will be. Yet she has chosen to withdraw into a married life. But when she returned with Fanaa, the film broke all records. Now as Ajay Devgan turns director, coming out of hibernation yet again seems the most obvious thing for Kajol to do. What makes Ajay-Kajol a couple to look forward to is their onscreen chemistry. They may not sizzle. But there's something very charming about them. Whether it was Ishq or Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, their delightful and restrained chemistry has often had us begging for more. Will U, Me Aur Hum keep up to the expectations? We only hope so.

Abhishek and Aishwarya

Marriage often spells the end of a heroine's career. In Bollywood. But because of the family she got married into, Aishwarya's marketability has only increased. Needless to say, her status too may have a lot to do with this. But together with Abhishek, she does in fact makes a formidable twosome. Ironically however besides Guru, Abhi-Ash have had no other hit films together (Umraao Jaan and Dhai Akshar Prem Ke bombed miserably). Then again, there was the Kajrare number. But that was it. Now however the two are slowly but steadily building the much coveted Brand Bachchan. And if their wedding ceremony was anything to go by, their popularity levels have never been higher. They are working in Sakrar Raj with Amitabh. If the film ends up being as successful as the prequel, it will spell a new beginning for the Brand in general and the couple in specific.

John and Bipasha vs Saif and Kareena

John Abraham and Bipasha Basu are two people from whom Saif and Kareena could take lessons. It's a pity though that John and Kareena don't talk. Think of it, John and Bips do not have too many films together. Jism and Goal are just two films that the two have done together besides the item song in No Smoking. And they've been together for as long as we remember. Yet somehow because of their 'youth icon' status, the two have managed to rake enough and more moolah for themselves through endorsements. Their on-and-off relationship has often helped them bolster their position within the media with both of them giving 'exclusive' interviews to newspapers and channels. Somehow it is this media attention that has kept the two afloat and more importantly has made them a couple to bank upon, even if it means for selling shampoos or flagging off marathons.I personally admire their attitude though..

Saif and Kareena

Lets see what Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are doing. If the two stick around each other for another one year or so, they would probably manage to generate more newsprint than TomKat and Brangelina put together. Kareena's break up with Shahid has also come at the most opportune moment. This move has opened up a lot of options for her. She is apparently trying to get close to Salman (who had a tiff with Shahid). And if that happens, the broken bridges between her and SRK/Karan Johar camp will not take too long to mend. Remember, for the time she was with Shahid, Kareena had no work for almost a year! Saif has been proclaiming his love for her and has apparently signed her on for two of his new projects. Meanwhile off the screen too, the couple's moves are being scrutinised and they know it too well. And both seem to be using this attention to its full potential. With the media eating out of their hands it may probably just be a matter of time before the two reach the top slot.
